How to make eggless vanilla pudding

December is the month of celebration, a time to rejoice and spend time with family and friends. Good food, gifts, chocolates and candies makes it a memorable one.

Vanilla pudding is a classic dessert which is loved by one and all. It is ideal for the holiday season. Today, I am sharing the recipe of the same. Make it ahead and enjoy it with your family.

Classic Vanilla Pudding

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Setting time: 2 hours

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml whole fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon condensed milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh cream
  • 1tablespoon cornflour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon agar agar
  • 5 drops vanilla essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon almond slivers.

Method:

  1. Take milk in a pan and boil it. Add condensed milk and fresh cream, keep stirring.
  2. Add sugar to it . Stir it.
  3. Take water in a pan and warm it. Mix agar agar to it and keep it aside.
  4. Mix cornflour with a little water to a paste.
  5. Slowly mix into the milk, no lumps should be formed.
  6. Add vanilla essence to it. Remove from flame and keep it aside.
  7. Put agar agar into it and give a stir.
  8. Put it into bowls and keep aside for sometime.
  9. It will soon set. Decorate with grated chocolate and almond slivers.
  10. Keep it in the refrigerator and serve.
